Nativity Play
Over this term we have been preparing for our junior school Nativity Play.
We have had many songs to learn as we are part of the choir. Each song has their own actions which we have been busy learning too.
Our class has the final song to sing and perform our own dance. We have been practising in our class and with the other junior class for the last the 4 weeks.
Drama and music is so much fun.

Balloon Car Racers and Milk Tankers
Throughout the term we have been talking about the many different ways we can move either with our bodies or with machines.
Today we explored the movement of vehicles. Our poem for the week has been "Wheels" and we talked about wheels and how they help vehicles move.
We have created our own vehicles from cardboard, milk bottles and milk bottle tops. We each decided whether we would make a milk tanker or a balloon car racer.

Advent - a time of waiting and preparing
Advent is a time of waiting and preparing.
We have been learning about the Christmas Story. We have talked about preparing and the time of waiting. Mary and Joseph had to prepare and wait for the birth of Jesus.
Here is a our beautiful stained glass work showing Mary and Joseph in the stable where Jesus was born in Bethlehem with the star above to guide the shepherds and wise men.
